Lower Back Pain
Most lower back pain is caused by injuries, such as muscle sprains or strains resulting from sudden movements or improper lifting techniques. In fact, 99% of lower back pain originates from benign musculoskeletal issues, including muscle and soft tissue injuries. As a result, these cases are often categorized as non-specific low back pain.
Lumbar Spondylosis (Bone Spurs)
Also referred to as lumbar spondylosis, this degenerative condition affects the vertebral joints of the spine. It can occur in both the neck and lower back, resulting in pain and stiffness, as well as weakness in the arms and legs. In severe cases, it may even lead to a loss of bladder control.
Patellofemoral Stress (Runners Knee)
A slipped disc, often called a bulging, compressed, or prolapsed disc, occurs gradually as the fibers of the disc stretch over time. You may initially notice a slight bulge that becomes more pronounced. Since the disc cannot heal on its own, treatment is necessary to address the condition effectively.
Sciatica
A common cause of sciatica is a herniated disc, which can put pressure on the nerve root associated with the sciatic nerve. Symptoms may include a burning or tingling sensation radiating down your leg, shooting pain when trying to stand, and difficulty moving your leg or foot. In some cases, there may also be issues with bowel or bladder control accompanying the pain.
Scoliosis
Scoliosis is characterized by a progressive 3D curvature of the spine, which can affect the upper, middle, or lower back, or all three areas simultaneously.
